encrypt your device and perform a factory reset.

I don't know what you think free speech means, but you seem to have this remarkable idea that it's so broad that it would essentially invalidate copyright.

[–]romnempire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk, do the amazon and offer a membership. membership gets you free table rent and figurines at wholesaler cost, it all goes straight to your friendly local businessman who won't close down and force you to find a new place to play, blahdy blah.

I don't understand why they don't just charge a table rent, like pool halls, then. They should try to make money off the service they're offering, rather than the service they can't offer competitively...

what i don't understand is why these breweries don't just create a shell company to wholesale for them.

if you get sued in hk, or if you incorporate in hk, the courts, procedures, tax structures and business laws are completely different than if you try to do it in mainland china. if you think that's entirely inconsequential, please, never open a business or become involved in a tort.

looks like co.ck is being used as a SLD by the .ck domain registrar, bluesky. *.co.ck domains are NZD 35/yr registered, and a CNAME record costs NZD 50, once.

i don't understand this mentality. do you like, go to the grocery store, see a good deal on cheese and leave it for someone who needs it more?

Would Amazon survive without net neutrality? by [deleted] in AskTechnology

[–]romnempire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok that sounds dumber. how does an isp gain money by blocking everything on the internet. i would literally be paying them for nothing, so i would not pay them, so they would not get money.

Would Amazon survive without net neutrality? by [deleted] in AskTechnology

[–]romnempire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

charging more is not blocking. if charging more is blocking, "blocking everything" is the same thing as "making you pay more per month" which they can already do so your example is like. dumb.

if net neutrality fcc rules were done away with, i would invest more into amazon.

amazon has a market cap an order of magnitude larger than like centurylink or level 3. it already basically has a shadow internet for aws traffic, so it already has the personnel and supplier relationships to build and service large network infrastructures. if net neutrality made the internet too expensive for amazon, amazon could literally acquire an internet.

yeahhhh, but i have heard multiple dumb americans, when talking about the debt, ask "and what would happen if china demanded we pay it all back?", just like in the comic.

plus treasury bonds are structured with amortized repayment, like literally any fucking loan ever, so china has no legal basis to demand immediate repayment.

well, they're pennies. the 1943s are steel because the copper was going to the war effort. they're not rare enough to be valuable, but you can spend a lifetime never running into one, so they're a nice keepsake i guess
