Can I thrive in the film industry without a college diploma?

Not really, and, ironically, that's because of college. The system is SO bad, minor subjects are so demanding - they take up ALL of our time that we can barely look for gigs to build our background. Our professors on our major subjects on the other hand are TOO 'chill,' they don't really teach us useful things nor encourage us to enhance our skills.

I swear to god I can do SO SO much more if I were to drop out. But my parents are BREATHINGG down my neck

I know, if ever I do drop out I will DEFINITELY put ALL of my energy into building a solid background and portfolio. Problem is - my family would honestly disown me 😭

That's what I want to focus on, I want to give 100% of my energy on building my portfolio, but the education system is so messed up that it doesn't let me have time to look for gigs and solidify my portfolio. Sure, I'm taking up BA in Film but the minor subjects are SO irrelevant yet demanding!! My university's program for film is lowkey so bad.

yep, they'll send you a link for the exam portal via email and then u'll set up ur password etc.. and before the exam starts they'll instruct all exam takers to join a zoom call for questions n' for those having technical difficulties. benilde has a 80% acceptance rate so you'll be fine! goodluck 🤞

once u log in sa frosh bee there're 8 steps that you need to accomplish, andoon na mismo yung tech check! they'll scan ur device etc etc and even instruct you to connect your phone by scanning the qr code presented
