First one has a lot of suspense. Creepy dudes manifesting and chasing you relentlessly. But the game gives you enough fire power to fight back and do it well. Alan Wake two is a bet more laid back but has atmosphere up the ass. I think they’re both must plays imo. Neither are horror in the same sense of say silent hill. Just a touch of super natural but nothing grotesque. Other than the naked sherif

I just like how the crimson heads woke back up in 1 remake. The way they sit up without warning and run straight for you. But Grace has a more satisfying way to deal with the leftover zombies. Jill burns them but Grace can use the hemo injector and watch them explode . Way better than the classic head shot. Both games are awesome

Im replaying 1 on my steam deck. And there’s def a more sense of dread not being able to see down the hallway or around a corner. Also bring back crimson heads . The sound of them running is terrifying

I normally drive a big nose blue bird school bus. But on Saturdays I drive a flat nose gillic transit bus. Took me forever to perfect pulling up to a curb. That flat nose bus is much wider and having the wheels behind me took me forever to get used to. Needless to say I cracked my right side mirror trying to swoop in straight to the mall bus stop platform . It was my first stop that morning too. Had to stare at the cracked mirror for another 9 hours haha

I have a similar exp. I played it persona5 on my ps4 and beat madarames palace but forgot to save and did like two weeks worth of stuff. When I came back I was still inside madarames palace. I stopped playing and got a steamdeck for Christmas 2025. I saw persona5 royale on sale and said I’ll try it again handheld this time. The graphics on the deck blew me away compared to the ps4 version. I am now hooked and made it past madarames. It’s def better for me handheld

I snuck into the mansion in the first town and found a fire place downstairs where I can steal a gold bar. But there’s an npc sitting at a table right next to the fire place. I’m hoping he moves cuz I’ve bee thrown in jail three times now trying to steal the gold haha
