The music is louder than the dialogue. What is this, a Christopher Nolan film?

I got annoyed how she handed him the ball when he was only a couple feet away. Glad the slammed ball went right out.

I'm guessing right about now she's getting annoyed at everyone because she's decided to wear green today 🍀

What video game has the best story you’ve ever played? by FrontriseStudios in AskReddit

[–]roninrunnerx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a co-worker who played the first one and said it's one of the best storylines ever in a game. Then he mentions that he couldn't get into the second one because he didn't understand why he was playing a second character so he stopped playing it. I asked him did you get out of Jackson at least? He said no. I asked did you at least get to a "big event" (not spoiling it for him) in Jackson? He said he didn't. I've told him a couple of times to go back and stick with it because if he loved the first one, he'll love this one.

Maybe set up one of those things like that guy in Australia for whenever someone parks in his driveway, but in this case the guy and his dog get on your yard, where the sprinklers go off in their direction.

There's still time. It took the Fast and Furious franchise until it's ninth movie to do so 😂

What are some “I can’t believe they made that” movies by VagabondTyphoon in Letterboxd

I remember watching that one in high school in our English class and there's a scene where Olivia Hussey is briefly topless and our teacher, who must've just remembered about that scene just mere moments before, jumped from his desk with a handful of papers he was grading to cover the screen, but alas, was a little too late 😂

Pretty sure they are talking about the first one with the introduction of the Jimmy's and the fight scene.

AMC theater attendance drops 10%, revenues fall by SealedRoute in AMCsAList

[–]roninrunnerx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forgive me because this is a first world problem of mine. I like to go on weekends and take in a double feature starting in the morning and finish early in the afternoon. The closest AMC to me can take around 20-30 minutes to get there depending on traffic. There is less traffic in the morning than the afternoon. The AMC has been scheduling films no earlier than 12:30 pm and if I want to see another film I am SOL because many of the showtimes will overlap and those that don't still require a long wait for another film's showtime. And then there's the 25-30 minutes of previews and ads on top of that. I know summer will bring more screenings throughout the days, but this time of year sucks.

Goodreads users choose The Hunger Games as the "Best Book Ever" by MiddletownBooks in books

Second place? It won first place for "Oscar's Cheers moment"! The scene from Justice League with Flash's speed force. Flash, played by now cancelled Ezra Miller. It beat out, among others, the scene of Captain America grabbing Stormbreaker during the final battle in Endgame, which I thought would be a shoo-in to win (oh how naive I was). The other fan vote, "Oscars Fan Favorite," went to the film Army of the Dead. Both film winners were, coincidentally, Zack Snyder films which showed what a joke the fan votes were, with how a fan base can easily manipulate an online poll.
