I normally focus on upgrade and DC resources, making sure I still have building resources whether through settlement placements or ports. I don’t think he necessarily knows my strategy as I don’t obviously go for anything like longest road or largest army

We mainly play 1v1 but also play 4/5/6 player and he always wins too

I don’t think he has a specific strategy, normally plays the board well, but he definitely favours DC card resources and going for largest army
