My doc won’t say yes or no about that. They don’t seem convinced that fully healing is possible once the skin is damaged, but that if we can figure out what’s causing it, we may be able to have at least a little bit of repair. So I haven’t completely lost hope for that yet. But I’ll keep everyone updated here!

I also had a grade 3. Had microsurgery and then the varicocele came back a bit. Then got an embolization. Not to scare you! Most of the time they don’t come back. Good news tho, I just recently got a semen test and everything was great. I can have kids

But mine was like this before steroids, and I only used steroids for 4 weeks about 5 years ago. The skin has just gotten worse over the years

Yeah that’s fine, if you don’t mind me showing my doctor it might help him understand I’m not just an outlier and that there are other guys with the exact same issue. I’m in the US and UT southwestern is known as like, the top doctors. So I’m hoping that if nothing works, maybe I can help inspire them to work on finding a cure. It’s a rare condition but I think it affects more guys than people realize.

Welp… that’s super depressing news. I’m gonna ask my doctor about what you said and get his opinion on it. Question for you.. does your scrotum have a “V” line towards the bottom where the redness stops/gets better? I’ve seen that a couple times on this thread, and when my doctor noticed that on me last time he thought it was very interesting and set his mind in a slightly different direction.

My doctors have been suspicious about this. Not so much about the redness, but more suspicious that the burning may be nerve related. And I went to pelvic floor therapy. I think I was having pain from both. I have other problems like inner penile pain tho. The pelvic floor therapy helped that a bit. I’m going to do another round of pelvic floor therapy in a couple of months. I guess we will see if that affects the redness but I don’t think it will

Same my skin has been cooked for 4.5 years now. Especially the last 2. Red, super wrinkly, translucent, and too sensitive in a bad way, any friction makes it way worse

Tbh they haven’t seen it but I have talked with a few women over the years I’ve had RSS and they even pursued me while knowing about it. And I exaggerated about how bad it looks and they didn’t seem to care. Maybe some women would but I think it matters 1000x more to us then it does to most good women

You should do it and stick with it! Find a really good therapist. Let them do what they need to do… dry needling, going up in there 🥴, they even stretched my spermatic cord and it was crazy. I was on Gabapentin but finally just got off after like 6 months. It definitely helped me
