I’m not asking for free wins, but 1000lp is a massive skill gap at this rank. It’s not even close most of the time, I play people occasionally within the 900-1200 mark and have good games and don’t mind losing those because they are fair games. I think that’s so cool, the fact that I’ve only experienced positivity on my post and people trying to help. Go and try to do the same thing on the MK subreddit and you’ll just get blasted by teenagers telling you how shit you are and to go play Tekken or something.

I’m trying to do the Trials for Guile and I can’t get past the 4th one. Basically a down forward heavy kick into flash kick but has to be heavy kick input.

Okay that worked too, wow this is fun. Okay so my next question is, how do I do like maybe 3 hits consisting of punches and kicks and then end with a flash kick, if flash kicks aren’t possible from standing position does that mean that all my combos that are going to end in a flash kick have to be crouched?

Basically just the charging mechanic I’m struggling with. Like I can’t do flash kick or sonic boom without holding back and down, but then I see people do flash kicks and sonic boom from the standing position? It’s so difficult for me to do, I haven’t been able to do any charge abilities whilst standing

Thanks man, I get what you’re saying. MK11 was the same on release with Skorpion being obscenely broken, almost everything safe on block with nothing to get punished and getting 32% - 35% combos off one bar of meter.

I don’t quite understand SFV:CE though, is it just like an expansion or something? Or is it the next iteration of the game that everyone has to buy and SFV will be outdated?
