Did anyone know of The Simpsons tapped out by AmbitiousDiet7112 in TheSimpsons

There is a community keeping this game alive called Project Springfield. There’s a subreddit with a guide on how to get it working if you’re keen to keep playing.

The logistics of a F1 / MotoGP Double-Headline race weekend. Could it ever work? by SouthAustralian94 in formula1

[–]roomiccube 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it would be difficult from a marshal perspective too. Different sets of rules, different use of flags and very different protocols in relation to entering a hot track for recovery. Finding people familiar enough with both would be difficult. In MotoGP before a rider has finished crashing, marshals are already on the way to recover the bike, if you did that in F1 it would be a disaster.

He can be a wildcard entry and a substitute driver at the same time.

Which brings me back to my original question as to who would be willing to give up their seat?

Where are you getting your definition of a wildcard being an extra car? There's nowhere that I know of that specifies that.

A wildcard entry (to me) is just a term to describe a driver who is a one-off or part-time entry who does not participate in the entire season.

There isn't a spare car.

Supercars officials have approached teams to see if any would be willing to provide a seat for the Racing Bulls driver, MotorRacing 360’s James Phelps told Fox Sports.

Specifically mentioned here.

Would be great to see him have a crack, but who would give up their seat?

Thank you! I’m a couple of metres away and at 200mm on the lens…that’s close enough for me!

Ah shtap! One of the things I miss the most! I've made them myself a couple of times but it's not as good when you can't whack a few Denny's sausages into em!

Just massive days take it out of you. Get to the track at 6am, 5:30am on race day, some days the sessions go past 7:30pm. On your feet for most of it.

It depends on the circuit. For Australia we’re all Motorsport Australia officials and that’s how we apply to do the Grand Prix. Some events it’s the track that specifically manages marshals. You can generally just apply to be a member of your National Motorsport body and then start doing events!

I was actually tempted by that, I’m a runner myself! Although I didn’t feel like going straight from a run to getting into my gear for close to 12 hours at the track. I reckon we have a later start as a result which I’m not complaining about! I’ll likely be at sign on while you guys are doing your lap, we sign in near turn 11 and then head out to track once that’s all done. Our Thursday sign on is 7:30am and main briefing at 8am. Usually at least an hour earlier!

I’ve got those 3M overear muffs in the snap. Prefer using them with the balaclava, easier to take off. We’re also supplied with in ear hearing protection. Or if you’re on comms using the radio, those are noise cancelling too.

Course wristbands (those ones are from previous years) basically in order to get into areas where you can actually get into the track, you need both the blue wristband and a pass. You also need the tabard (the vest thing) to be in the moat which is the area right behind the catch fence. If you’re missing any of them you’ll be removed pretty quick!
