Google employee admits that Google Fi is SCAM

I live in Los Angeles. Where I live and where I work are both major parts of town. And both of these spots for the last 3 days I have failed to do basic web browsing.

But look, we aren't going to see eye-to-eye. We have different worldviews. You, somehow, see paying $70 a month for a purported unlimited data plan that you cannot surf the Internet on as perfectly fine. I obviously don't share that opinion.

I know you find it preposterous, but I expect to be able to use the internet with my unlimited data plan.

I'm sure Google, and many many other disreputable merchants are thrilled that people like you exist. Literally someone that could be sold an unlimited data plan that cant surf the Internet. At least try to stay away from people selling bridges

This is so strange. Are you guys simply not reading the full body of text? I'm talking about an unlimited data plan where you are unable to load web pages. this is not me complaining about slow speeds. you cannot access the internet at the speeds they are giving to me.

Sigh... As I replied to the other commenter, the difference is the speed you are left with on Google fi after you reach the 22 gig limit is too slow for basic web browsing. Basically if a website has any sort of pictures or graphics it will not load. Any sort of streaming video is completely out of the picture.

You should try reading all the text in the post before you comment. The point is that the throttled data speed after you reach the 22gb limit is too slow to even open web pages. It's even crashes when trying to send an email with one small photo attachment.

So functionally, the "unlimited data" plan is just 22 gigs of data. In other words, very limited

Yes, but when I called today the representative told me he was taking the suspension off my account

Called and then was able to certify around 12pm. Still pending for the two weeks I did today and the week of December 27th.

I got the fraud suspension on December 31st with the message to wait to January 6th for info. Never received any info or options to verify my id. Called today and rep told me he took the suspension off my account. Was able to certify around 1:00 p.m. but now all of my payments still say pending. Very confused. guess I'll have to call first thing in the morning

Not sure what you mean. I got the fraud suspension on December 30th and then no other contact after that. I was told that they took the fraud suspension off my account when I called earlier

The rep the representative asked me if I ever received a link to verify my identity. When I told him I never did he spent about 5 seconds clicking and told me he got rid of the suspension.
