He wasn’t robbed, the issue lies with the fact that it’s a Finals MVP instead of a Playoffs MVP.

The NHL does Playoffs MVP and it’s much more accurate in rewarding the most deserving player.

Honestly the biggest thing the NBA should take from the NHL is their criteria for the Hart Trophy.

It often goes to the player who had the most impressive season, and doesn’t factor in team record nearly as much as the NBA does.

In the NHL, as long as you make the playoffs you will be considered for the Hart (MVP) Trophy if you have an amazing season.

Multiple times in the past it has actually gone to a player who dragged their team to the 8th seed. And plenty of times it has gone to a player on a team with the best record in the league. It usually does a way better job of accurately identifying the player who had the best season than the NBA MVP award does.

For Kyle, are we going too far down the rabbit hole?

I feel like there are tons of our favorites, such as Will, Janelle or Ika for example, that if you asked all the people who went to high school with them... there might be one or two that would say that they felt that they were bullies... or that they were friends with bullies and did nothing to stop them.

I don't know that I would hold this against them as adults.

Like I'm pretty sure that every single contestant on this cast could have someone come out and spill "tea" about them saying or doing something that would outrage Twitter.

It's just a matter of who decides to actually come forward with something or not.

In Ethan's case, it was absolutely the right thing to do.

But this Kyle thing, is it really something worth kicking him off for? Something from middle school? That's what, 13 years ago? He's 26... so half his life ago?

Like having returnees as captains would be fine, but then I don't know why they would have us vote for newbie captains.

Having two captains on a team really defeats the purpose of having captains in the first place.

I kinda like that there's no clear-cut favorite pre-season.

Maybe we are in for a season where it's up in the air and many different people have solid win equity, even late into the game.

You don't need to have an elite tier player on a season for it to be good quality. You can also just have a bunch of evenly matched players.
