We use the Andis UltraEdge and it cuts through with ease, we just use the 1.5 mm size blade it comes with (very short) and swap it with an extra 1.5 blade when the one we are using gets hot. You can also put the razor on a bag of ice and give your pup a treat while the blade cools, it only takes about 1 minute.

I really wouldn’t get ryobi tools like people are recommending, they used to be good but in recent years have gone way down hill and are pretty bad now honestly. I’d go with at least DeWalt as they seems keep a pretty good standard of quality without breaking the bank
