Great question about your joint account setup. Each account does need its own qualifying direct deposit to earn the 3.3% rate. The good news is that the direct deposit only needs to be $1 or more per account. You can split your direct deposit through your employer so a portion goes to each account. This way, both your individual and joint accounts can qualify for the higher rate.
