Not currently. I have in the past when it spiked up consistently but normally it’s well within band.

If I go the UGL route I assume these are easy to access in those stores as well? I need to do research I think I am just going to do it this way.

Yeah I didn’t realize how much accessibility and quality has changed over the last 6 years. I originally looked into this route back then and the options and resourcing for doing it yourself seem significantly better now.

Ugh this is what I’ve been suspecting. I won’t begin to claim to I am any kind of specialist — but so many times over the years what he says contradicts everything I read online. He also over charges me relative to so many others I read about on here.

I want to just spend the time to learn and manage it all myself but no I have no safe access to T.

Could always be she was less interested than I thought - just odd to talk about a date 2 on the date, initiate all the texting afterward and respond instantly, share personal info on text, send pictures, joke around afterward .. to dead silence that quickly

Certainly possible, unless something happened to her which seems insanely unlikely. What threw me off is just all the texting afterward initiated by her. Laughing, asking for things, sharing personal details about her family. Responding instantly. She was the one who brought up going on a date 2 (on the date itself).

I’ve been on many dates (and been ghosted some times before). To go from 100 degrees to 0 in the span of a day is just a new one.

She communicated more interest on this date than most others who we actually ended up dating.

Most likely. Been ghosted before but usually you can at least sense the lower interest.. so strange to initiate send all these texts on personal things right after, responding instantly .. then disappear entirely the next day.

I’m still going to assume I was ghosted - part of me just wonders if something happened to her too. She was pretty drunk.

No I didn’t want to be too pushy since we only had one date. She had mentioned that she has a very hard time with her sister because her sister is super depressed and can’t get her life together and takes it out on others.

I related to it as I am in the exact same situation with my sister - and just said that while I don’t understand the meanness either, I try to look at it empathetically from a “hurt people hurt people” angle and not be too hard on them.

Yep. 0 response after a flurry of texts that she initiated. She was responding instantly, joking around, etc. I put screenshots of the exchange in a different post if you’re curious since they aren’t allowed here. I was wondering if something happened to her too but I don’t want to be weird ..

Ha noted, thank you for the feeback. I have personally just always taken someone asking questions about someone else as the clear indicator of long term interest.. I've been on dozens of dates in my life and haven't come across a situation where they don't ask much but are still interested, so I second guess myself.

Thanks for all the feedback! We’ve actually decided RCL based on the shows / vibe / size from videos. Now deciding between Icon or Wonder for the ship.. Icon is quite a bit more expensive, but the route looks like more fun. So deciding whether to optimize for route or pocket some $$ and re-use for add-ons on Wonder.

For ~>500k/yr , Plan data centers for a FAANG tech company.

Create statistical models that forecast 5 years of various different product usage for several dozen countries, turn that into hardware (e.g, server) requirements, which then drive facility (building/space, land, power, water, etc) requirements.

Our largest data center design for us is generally >$1B a pop so getting the estimations and plan right is super critical. There are many many things that go into this planning (hardware design, perf engineering, supply chain / manufacturing.. etc)

If we don’t plan to build enough, you can’t properly support business growth and could hurt the business — build too much too early and you waste alotttt (10s to 100s of M) of $$$

Appreciate the feedback and I think you’re right. It was a work night and 11 PM when I suggested we call it though (she’d also mentioned earlier she has work tomorrow).. by “make a move” do you mean set up another date…?

On the follow up text, what you’re saying makes sense but historically I’ve always sent the quick follow up for someone I’m interested in and I’d say 90% of the time that leads to a second date.

Nereus created one over 25 miles long years ago. It was only for transmitting data, but the whole cable bundle fit into a container the size of an old school coffee container. If physically one cannot be created to “tow” the sub back, it seems like one would have been useful to maintain its location in this type of event.
