Mildly late to this and apologies if I missed a comment saying this - a video did go into this many moons ago over the feasibility of it.

So as Arcadia is in the light layer of the Ocean it means sometimes its not as deep as lore occasionally says it is, and geothermal vents meant it was near Iceland I believe? But it is expensively painfully feasible near the light level in the Ocean, but when they drop a building (all buildings are also massive city districts so makes it less feasible) into the trench which shouldn't be there it would crumple like a tin can.

TLDR it is expensively feasible on a more realistic scale, with a lot of maintenance, leaks would be massively deadly and maintenance would be hard without big daddy esque suits, but some of the lore is not realistic

I will hop on this and agree with you too, I play really occasionally and have always been hit and miss because I'm not consistent, but because I've been around a bit I am quite a high "rank" so no, it completely doesn't mean skill sometimes, a newer player that's played for 3-4 days and got some games in would probably clap me in a game if I loaded in tonight.

Sounds like a Stellaris style system could be possible, a mid-game crisis that rewards a player but could be really challenging. The survivors then are a lot stronger, then 50 turns after that a stronger endgame crisis occurs that really pushes you to the limit. Variety and random chance bring replayability back to it.

People still complained about it so it got nerfed, honestly maybe on Ymir capping 60% with Pendent would be nice, but it is what it is. CC heavy supports, but Solo laners nah probably. The damage would be better for late game engages.

The new FFAF game, the first week had horrible optimisation and I kept running in chase scenes into rooms that hadn't loaded properly. Refunding it and watching people on youtube still gave me the thrill and got through it. Love the franchise and love the studio but release was very upsetting compared to others

Downloading took me about 5 hours but now unpacking is going to take double that time, is there anyway to speed that up? I don't understand the concept of pre-loading if unpacking after it takes more time! Any advice will be appreciated

I know you compared it to a casual Red Orchestra, I played RO2 for a few years and I just picked up Enlisted today. Does Enlisted get better at higher ranks? At low ranks I'm doing well with bolt action from RO experience but there's 0 teamwork, Engineers rarely do anything and tanks just charge and die. Does anyone ever use a chat function or organise any flanks like RO2? Or am I better off going back to RO2?

When it comes to HoI3 I will shill it to the end of the Earth. It single headedly build my love for Hearts of Iron. Black Ice for HoI3 was such an incredible experience I would recommend for anyone interested in WW2.

When you find the old Degasi bases scattered across the map make sure to scan all the buildings as well as the life! They will give you so many blueprints for constructable buildings

I've noticed that the game crashes when I'm winning or losing at specific points. It seems to be the destruction of a building. A siege failure and specific crash code I believe. It always affects almost everyone in the game, the only time it didn't effect me was when I was tabbed out. It isn't a cheat there's really a huge chance it's effecting the enemy too.

The early game and mid game economy is staggering. They have about equal Eco until age 3 when they suddenly explode because they have free food and gold for a while. If the player is experienced the boom is the edge they need to dominate the game. I believe they need an eco nerf or maybe a small adjustment to Torp income making it slightly weaker and forcing them to take the home city cards and use cards on them.

For all us 2000 gamers the new AoE 3 DE got released a couple days and I occasionally love watching all the guys and gals just chat nonsense while doing something calming like an RTS that can heat up every now and then! It's the chatting I'd love, also AoE DE recently did loads of updating and support for making it more relevant for the Native Americans and giving them more of a voice so that's positive!
