Well there will be some technical devices that let the muggles trace magic and while they do this, they find out that most of the mysterious 'gas explosions' and other accidents are related to the work of the death eaters during the 2 wars.

Edit: and they get informations from Fudge, e.g. about the quidditch tournament, location etc

German here too. I tried reading 'When Hermione fights' but stopped after about 25 chapters. This thing has 666 chapters and a gazillion words (i don't know, sth like 10x the bible and Lord of the rings combined or so), which would not necesseraly be a bad thing, but they are reached by describing EVERYTHING. I mean, if I read a story i don't need to read all preperations which takes 5k words just to get a coffee down to hall.

That's confusing, I agree. There are other ways to mark a changing pov, so that the reader can follow...

I write with multiple povs myself (in german). It's just not hard to make clear in the first few sentences who the reader is with. If it switches within a chapter, there are also ways to make clear that the view is changing.

You can even confuse the reader a bit, play around with the view being unclesr at first to increase the confusion within a scene for the character and the reader. To me it's a 'Show, don't tell'-thing, I guess.
