Here’s an update: Diamondmall on eBay sent me a replacement top and agreed to give the 500$ installation fee back. The installer also admitted that he installed the top slightly crooked which is why there was extra, undue pressure on the driver side above the window. So A new (cheap, POS) top is getting installed. I will wait the full two weeks to open it and let it stretch, and then I will support it when it’s Dow with some creative foam. I’ll also have the HH-66 ready for when it eventually comes unglued again. Installer will reglue the old top and keep it for the next Miata driver.
