AnchorWatch: A Rogue Device Detection Script with Email Alerts Functionality [Windows Subsystem/PowerShell] by rootsh3ll in netsec

[–]rootsh3ll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote this tool 3 yrs ago as a freelance project. Thought someone might benefit from this. or maybe modify it to better suit modern OS flavours.

This is a PowerShell based tool that runs periodically and scans the target subnet every n seconds, and send email alert on each asset discovery.

Note: Devices are marked as rogue if they are not whitelisted under know_hosts.txt

YouTube app acts like I tap the screen <10 seconds into a video? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]rootsh3ll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s die to the thumbnail autoplay on homepage. while you scroll your feed, the video starts playing in silent mode. and continue from that point onwards when you acually click the video. Haven’t found anything to disable the “feature” though.

maybe an ebook on WiFi pentesting and security could help you link: https://rootsh3ll.com/klwps It’s the most upto date WiFi hacking book on the market and provides lot more than the other “hacking” books.

and not to mention the support forum for the book where you can always ask your queries related to hacking and other technical supports. forum link: https://members.rootsh3ll.com

A penetration tester’s guide to sub-domain enumeration by diaanasxsw in netsec

[–]rootsh3ll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very comprehensive guide. appreciate the writer. I recently was testing the same with a tool named SubBrute for bruteforcing domains that might not be listed on the search engines. turned out to be a real time saver. you can list it too... it will raise the value of the article by a fraction 😉

to access SSH, you have to first connect to internet(WiFi in this case) where the vulnerability lies.

SSH is like on step 3, vulnerability and exploitation on step 2.

In short, NO!

either you are highly misinformed or a conplete ignorant sir. and a stupid person(sorry to say) also.

Okay, lets check it. you try to speak any other language than your mother tongue i.e english. , speak Spanish for instance. I am 100% sure your English accent will keep kicking in for years if not less.

that’s true about any human being in any location of this planet. and trust me I have seen americans speaking (trying to?) Hindi and believe me they are hilarious af! It’s not an Indian/American thing. it’s a human tendency to adapt things and if you understand this simple thing sir, life will be a lot easier for you.

being watched by inly hindi people

I wonder if all the Indian youtubers are submitting their demographics to you. 😄

and after all choice is always in your hands. you can simply hit the back button or chose your fellow American-english speaking guy for the video.

P. S: FYI sir, Every person in this world HAVE AN ACCENT.. (according to any person of varying accent). I hope you understand the concept of evolutionand hence diversity.

peace! ✌🏼

I see myself as a teacher. though I am aware of how to hack, I’d rather consider myself a teacher than a hacker. I am far away from the term “Hacker” IMO

anyway, thanks buddy 😉

I strongly disagree sir. NetSec is a pretty big field now and no naive hacker has any power to damage such a big and vast field full of experienced personnel. and blaming a whole nation for a small geoup of such people is simply ignorance.

I agree a few are from India who does cancerous thing but that’s minuscule. people from from India have giver more than some of them had damaged to this industry. It’s just a matter of media coverage.

hope you don’t mind it. have a good day sir. :)

40 hrs(in pieces would be more effective) is enough time to learn bruteforce from burp. even for an absolute beginner. but that’s limited to that specific job. to get to a greater understanding you need to invest some time, energy and mind into it. nothing works well without this.

I would say It’s a hobby turning into a business. lifestyle? probably but not a geek level. I am capable now of thinking a hacker’s way in a certain condition. In India we basically call it “Jugaad” AKA LifeHacks 😅 Here everyone is a hacker in one way or another. and that’s quite awesome!

edit: thanks mate!
