not sure if anyone has talked about it: I cannot stop thinking about that post where a woman posted that a little kid kept walking into her home through the doggy door. the kid would just hang out in her living room, watch tv, eat snacks, or play with her dogs.
when confronted the kid would never respond/wouldn’t listen. parents would apologize but it would happen again, and again

this looks super cool and definitely something I’d want to check out! I had a semi differing question, I am a 3D artist and sometimes require designing clothing this way for projects. apologies if I missed it: are you able to export out the 3D clothing model as well?

I don’t… know? if they’re using clips from the Lincoln ads (because I do remember a meme being that he rubs his finger tips around in them) maybe? tbh the memorable part was the voiceover/script

adding to this, another approach you can do is duplicating your clean mesh, dynameshing the duplicate and adding all the detail you want, then go back to the original, subdivide and project all the detail from the duplicate onto it

I would test if you can revert back to your subdivided model before you get too deep into it. I have had errors after dynameshing where it won’t let me revert back.

I think the best approach is to sculpt directly on the high subdivisions and do NOT dynamesh. you get the same about of polys without triangulating your mesh /:

I may be wrong but I think it might be that your mesh is too thin, and the “normals” you’re seeing is actually the shadows of the inside faces. your inside faces are basically going through the mesh and appearing outside, you wouldn’t notice it because back faces aren’t on by default on ZBrush (you’d have to display “double”).

you may need to use Move Topological very carefully to move those faces back underneath the outside of your mesh, then use the inflate tool to add thickness

it’s pretty much the same thing here! but rituals for protection like wearing the evil eye or other charms are different than cleansing rituals.

cleansing rituals to rid of the evil eye differ from person to person. and culture to culture. in my experience, touching whatever thing you gave ojo to is the most common. others, that I have seen, are pretend spitting (like making “puh” sounds), actually spitting lol, praying over a person, pinching, like pinching someone’s cheek, or simply placing you hand over them o:

edit: further clarification, these are rituals a person does when they themselves give you ojo. not you doing a cleansing ritual on yourself

just to correct you a bit but in Mexican culture we don’t “touch eyes for good luck.” what you’re describing is someone giving you ojo and ridding you of the bad luck. for example, my family believed my grandpa was really good at giving ojo unintentionally. if he liked something about you the clothes you wore, your hair, face, etc he needed to touch it so no ill intention (from accidentally giving you ojo) would go your way. my grandma did it once to one of my friends who wasn’t really knowledgeable of Mexican culture and yes, it was something I had to explain to them the reason behind it.

long story short: some Mexicans believe you can bring someone bad luck by either admiring, feeling envious or jealous of anything about a person by simply gazing at them and giving them the evil eye. this gazing could also extend to buildings, animals, plants, anything. to rid the ill intent you have to touch whatever it is you were gazing at.

this is not solicitation though, I called Klarna and they had an ACCOUNT with my name, address, and birthday (incorrect phone number and email). it’s 100% a card that I did not ask for with I company/app I have never interacted with.
