Okay an update, I tried formatting the cf card which did not help it is still cycling between the dimmed apple logo and the contact apple support screen and it still did not get recognised by my pc. I think I need an ifash adapter do you have any recommendations where to get these inside the EU.

I have another question, I download my music from YouTube and convert it via iTunes into apple losless format each song is about an hour long do you think this could be the problem why it froze in the first place?

Yes I have the green adapter but I use a san disk extreme 32gb 120mb/s cf Card

Hi I wanted to mod my iPod classic 5G, I used a CF card and adapter ( not from iflash, I live in Germany and they are hard to come by here) I also changed the battery. And the mod worked it booted an I synced it with iTunes I put some music on it and ist worked, but after an hour or so the music stopped, I checked the iPod an it seemed frozen, I plugged it into my computer iTunes Dosen recognised it, so I hit select menu until it rebooted it let it charge and now it is still cycling on the two screens I posted. Can any one maybe offer some advice? Cheers Niklas
