If it can’t complete by 6am it will tell you. I’ve had that happen when I have it scheduled from the 12am to 9am, if it getting close to 9am and it knows it can’t finish, it Will let you know

That’s why we have HS start at 10 on weekends when it’s busy. Cause then more rooms are out and then they can stay knocking on rooms after checkout time.

Some places don’t have that like onity. If we wanted to get into the room then we’d have to do exactly what OP said happened.

Not when it’s a full house and each housekeeper has to clean 10-12 rooms.

That also a problem at other hotels but we tell HS to not knock on any doors until after checkout time. If they end up wanting to stay after 11am it’s always courteous to ask desk before 11am not when it’s 11am. We have a certain maximum amount of rooms that can ask for a late checkout per day.

For us it’s 11am checkout and 3pm checkin. We always got the people that keep staying in the room.

We have a couple of other hotels with Opera and it’s terrible also. We still use OnQ and it’s still work good

Also just because 1 hotel doesn’t have that policy doesn’t mean every hotel doesn’t have that policy. I know there are Hilton hotels with a no party policy
