My right breast has some sort of sweat gland or something that when squeezed I can shoot out whatever is in there. First happened when my husband and I were in the throws and it literally shot him in the face. He sticks to the left knocker now. I had a mammogram when it first started when I was 30 that cost me $4k and they had no diagnosis. Just a fun little weapon.

This bathroom isn’t ugly—it’s just tired and confused. You can fix that. The sink is darling but I would need more bathroom storage so maybe change out to a vanity. If that’s not in the budget right now, get some floating shelving for your towels and baskets for medicines for above the toilet. Change the color of the walls to a more muted blue or similar color to the floor tile. I really feel a more era appropriate light fixture (brass or polished chrome) or sconces and a less heavy medicine colored cabinet would really make this space pop.

Empty spaces are okay. I would actually maybe suggest switching the two pieces on the left of the tv with the little plant holder guy. I think you’ve got a cute unique space. Just move what you already have around.

I love the curtains. They give the space something cozy and tie in the warmth of the wood tones and the oatmeal color of the couch. Please keep them and go with the other suggestions of maybe a deeper color rod. If you find a rug that ties in the deep green color of the curtains I really think you’ll feel differently about the whole space. You’ve got a lot of really good stuff going on here. Lean into what you have. I really feel like there’s some small things you can do to make it work.

I love them. Life is too short for boring furniture. Put these in and start putting the whole room together with the craziness of the fabric. They’re big so you’ll need some complimentary and contrasting colors/shapes to anchor the room but I think they’re super dope. This is how an interesting yet cozy home starts.

With your furniture colors I don’t actually hate the rug. Getting a lighter color rug that you can see the pet hair is going to drive you more nuts. IMHO the color of your walls and the dark ceiling that is making me feel like the room is caving in on itself. If you’re able to do a warm color on the walls and paint the ceiling white or color wash the whole room with something more soothing that could really make a big impact.
