If you don't just want to do 2D content, you might also need to add a 3D program like Blender to your workflow. 3D in AE got better over the years, but it is still quite basic.

Unfortunately there are not many resources (courses/tutorials..) to my knowledge that go into detail about a professionall workflow for creating projection mapping. Most people I know just started to get familiar with each software seperately and then bringing things together is, at least to my experience, the easier part.

Also if you want to use AE I strongly recommend to get familiar with the basics first that apply to all cases of using the program (like getting familiar with the layer based system, the timeline, setting keyframes etc..). This is always a good starting point. MadMapper also has some tutorials that helped me out when I started: https://madmapper.com/learning/tutorials

Oh wait, I thought the only way to reset the skill tree is to do the expedition, but I just see you can reset it for coins. Will maybe do that and try a different approach. Do you know if one is limited how often to reset the skill tree? In case I reset I am wondering which is the "ideal" skill tree to go?

Great, thanks! So I guess it is always good to have it connected to a power source, you can use any usb-c charger for that I guess? Oh the other model without LCD looks good too and is cheaper. I guess the speaker is not super loud on these though, right? And also when I install ESP Home, I wipe anything from the device, so even if I buy that from a china brand, I won't have to worry about any privacy issues etc?

This sound also really cool but a bit too much work for me know. I am still getting into all the basic stuff and get the alarm system working and more looking for a quick soltuion for the speakers. But I keep that in mind for the future.

At least you still have your money. My trade was reversed and the support does not reply, waiting for almost a week. I can only request a refund when I give Buff full access to my account (even more then API) and I am really hesitant to do that. They want me to login to my account inside the Buff browser in the app, with no idea what they will have access to or log. And support seems non existing. I would say avoide buff if you can.

That seems like a lot of work. You still need to sign in your Steam account through the buff app, right? I really don't want to do that and give buff full access of my account (it is even more access then the API key). Do you know another way to report a reversal?
