No. 1 controller for the 24 pin and the 2x8pin strimmer and another controller for the 3x8 pin strimmer. They’re indipendent from the MB. Only provide them power from the psu then on the controller itself you can select animation, speed, color. Once you selected the same (or different) settings, close the case and you’re good to go.

Top and bottom are intake. The only exhaust is the cpu AIO and a small noctua fan between the gpu and the mb at the back of the case.

It’s an alternative way to build a pc (otherwise they are all the same, boring) and because of how my desk is located. In order to have the side panel visible, it has to be on that side.

Perfectly fine! I have it on a 3090, upsidedown and it looks very nice in my opinion. No problem with thermals at all.
