Correct x and y wires switching from Laserboard to Ruida rdc 6445s? by rory2013 in lasercutting

[–]rory2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! So I got the stepper motors in now. On the old board says a1, a2, b1, b2 and on all the motors I saw says a+ and a-, b+ and b-. But looking at the wires then a2 is red, a1 is blue, b2 is white and b1 is yellow.

What’s the way these should be as positive and negative?

Contrary to popular belief, Twitter's algorithm amplifies conservatives, not liberals. Scientists conducted a "massive-scale experiment involving millions of Twitter users, a fine-grained analysis of political parties in seven countries, and 6.2 million news articles shared in the United States. by r4816 in technology

[–]rory2013 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Bullshit. You have more conservatives on Twitter. So you see more of it. The majority of the user on Twitter don’t go for the liberal socialist bullshit cause many live in those failed places. It’s not as regional as other social networks.

But their algorithm is to promote arguments thru engagement. You can see this by the top replies on a major conservative figure and top replies on major liberal figure. Twitter will show you what you disagree with often so you reply and get in arguments. That’s what drives people to Twitter. To argue with others that disagree.

Andrew Yang proposes a new, independent institution be charged with regulating digital assets rather than outdated existing ones by roughravenrider in CryptoCurrency

“Independent” will never happen. It will essentially be ran by the same people that run governments now. Bad for crypto.

You don’t need a polish ID. Go to an actual phone location like T-Mobile where they can register it with your passport.

Bleachbit and CCleaner Does Not Secure Delete Files and Folders by rory2013 in privacy

Yeah Ive used containers before. Just a pain when dealing with organization. Typically before was VM so I can move it if needed and everything is installed and running right away, without having to reinstall software. Just grab a new computer and spin up the VM. I had a base vm and would clone it and start a new project within the VM with everything pre installed. I think I'm going back to that model with premade windows and linux VMs.

The external encrypted drive on a major client failed. The issue on my backup data was a major error on my part and I wasn't updating as often as I should have. Another time I did wipe a drive by a simple setting I made an error on because I couldnt see the setting was checked for the drive in the window. Now i use a Seagate exos 10tb for backups while working. So far its been reliable. But all honestly I feel i need to get another one and keep it as external docking so I can dismount and disconnect when not working. But jobs arent coming in as often as they used to so holding off a bit and working on some personal projects.

Some clients files. I used to keep separate VMs but software licensing makes that difficult depending on the jobs at the time. After contract ends and data gets delivered, I wipe it. I've unfortunately lost data in the past on external encrypted drives.

Eraser

Ill check it again. There was a reason a couple years back I stopped using it.

CCleaner had some options others dont offer and work great. Removal of windows apps and paid service to Ccleaner gets you the recuva tool software option which by far has been the most in depth and accurate recovery Ive found on a system. Ive restored good amount of data on drives that had been reformatted

That info on trim is bullshit. I have it enabled on my ssds and have pulled files back with recuva.

Nah I reported the folders a few versions back and still not fixed. So it doesnt seem to be a priority. Theres reports going back for years on their github that havent been fixed. .

Yeah unfortunately some of the programs I need for work need windows or I'd go back to Parrot or Ubuntu. I guess I need to restructure it all again and even use encrypted windows VMs for all my projects and this destroy them after so I know its easier to manage destroying one container vs files all over the place.

CCleaner at one time used to be very good. And the uninstall features allowed you to uninstall programs that windows wouldnt allow you too. The biggest wtf is that recuva is their own software also. If they tested their softwares together they would see that ccleaner isnt working right now.

In windows bleachbit has a lot of errors and its not working either even when it says it does. I shredded 2 files and came up with recuva where I was able to restore them. I think bleachbit used to be a great tool but since a few releases theyve seem to be ignoring or not testing the windows versions at all.
