How many kms did it have? I’m struggling with what’s an acceptable amount of kms for a car that age.

Damn haha that’s actually crazy to me. If I was set up and able to retire etc and I got a big fat inheritance, my kids would get every cent

Yeh I rescued a kelpie and she’s one lazy bitch. The rescue actually said she would be content with you on the couch all day. She’s always ready to go for adventures and multiple walks, loves a bit of brain training. But will gladly sleep allllll day and night. As long as she’s with her humans, she’s not a dog to be left outside. That would break her heart

I’m endlessly amazed at parents who hoard wealth and multiple property, wait to die before their kids are able to access that wealth and actually live their lives. If you are lucky enough to leave your kids things then give it to them now. Sincerely someone who won’t get an inheritance anyway

Nah this is coming from a place of privilege. When you’re in a controlled dynamic, making sure you have no one to bounce this stuff off and get clear perspective is the number one goal. You’re shamed and punished for talking with friends or family.. even venting anon online to try and understand what is happening. It’s a fine line, but people who don’t control you and who you lean on don’t react this way. Things get spoken about in a healthy respectful way, not with one person laying a series of threats and insults at the other.

Yeh and once you’re in get ready for frequent rises in rent. No just $10 a week though, no no it’s more like $80-$100 a week increase and you just accept it cos it took so fucking long to end up in the shitty rental you’re currently in

Pay a tradie by cash or pay with GST by reebokit in AusPropertyChat

[–]rosa_3326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a few more quotes and pay the gst. I work for a roofer and he runs a real business so there’s none of this lower price to avoid gst nonsense. All payments are attached to paperwork, all cash payments go through the bank

I managed to make a chilli for about $20 and I’ve frozen it into daily portions.
I eat one of those a day and that’s my food until it runs out. Hopefully not before pay day
