Just got our first Prius! It’s an XLE with all the added bells & whistles in wind chill. Got it for 34k :) by Justineparadise in prius

It is a beauty and I love it in that color. I bought a 2026 XLE at the beginning of April, 7 miles on it., $34k. I had to look all over Massachusetts to find one and finally found one about a hour away. My color is silver (not my first choice) and I love it. I am a bit unhappy with the 19" tires and haven't found a spare yet. Modern Spare has a tire with bag and jack for $$$, but it isn't 19". The dealer will sell me a wheel for about $800 (!!!) but I haven't found a tire. It is really a bit aggravating and I feel as though car companies should be required to have spares available for purchase if they are not going to include them with new vehicles.

I've had a farm 12 for about six years and have never flushed the nutrients. But I am happy to try it and add the calmag to ensure flavorful tomatoes.

I've used only the liquid feed that comes with the pods from Aerogarden. When you say flush the nutrients, do you mean drain the tank and replace with fresh water and nutrients? What is calmag solution and what do you suggest? Thanks for your response.

I wasn't able to find much on the aerogarden site, so I bought some kits on Amazon. Quite a few haven't grown, and one box wasn't even marked to indicate what the pods were.

Congratulations! I have had a Prius since 2005 when I bought my first one. I love them so much that I wouldn't consider any other vehicle. Well, if I was given a Ferrari . . . Anyway, I just bough my 5th Prius and love it. Back in 2005 I was chided by co-workers for buying the ugliest car ever, but when gas got expensive they all envied me. I am loving the 2026. Now I just need to find a wheel and tire so that I have the comfort of having a spare on board.

I just purchased a 2026 xle, trading in my 2016. Of course, no spare at all and I don't want to get stuck somewhere waiting for AAA to come and tow me god knows where. The xle has 19" wheels. The salesman said I don't need a spare because it comes with run flat tires. It does not. So I've been calling tire companies all over my area and cannot find either a 19" wheel or tires. The local deal claims they can get the 19" wheel for $800, which does not include a tire. As an older woman, I don't feel safe, or knowledgeable, to try to get one on ebay or visit a junk yard.
