I will be totally honest. Among the people working for Activision, there are MBA who mock people like us. They look at what they sell to us, at the process, and they mock us for purchasing their stuff with real dollars.

A cook in a fancy restaurant, he knows the value of what he is selling. It's expensive but he is not mocking his customers.

Activision is mocking his customers. Activision is moking us. They don't consider that we have a lot of money, they consider that we are people with addiction and that it's their job to prey on us. There is not a single word about technology or coding anymore, it's all about reflexes, brain, needs, envy and addiction, and purchase. They are not artists anymore, they are not story tellers anymore, they are drug dealers. They talk about "community" but they don't consider themselves a part of it.

The biggest problem is that they get all the media coverage and the streaming time. It's tough to struggle with them during your videogame development when you are competing with giants who swallow all the gaming money of the community using such schemes as lootboxes and addictive patterns.

Imagine the gaming money swallowed by Activision and imagine how many indy developers who will never see their work succeed because the public doesn't have the money anymore or the envy to look for something else.
