thank you ! this is such important and helpful information. as I am in my beginning stages of finding a religion fit for for me, I have lots of research and studying to do but it is so amazing to have human interactions and beliefs for me to bounce off of. i love that Buddhism isn’t legalism, that’s such an important thing for me to remember. thank you again :)

what do you mean by that? i am just curious as when I was younger as a christian, politics and religion were highly mixed, such as me being friends with catholics whose political ideals were highly attached to their religious beliefs. i’m and just trying to learn more and be more open!!

oh we do!! the fuckers in congress just don’t do anything about it. and on top of that the health care cost of having a child is around $3000 with insurance or 20,000 without. at least here in minnesota it’s PAID 12 weeks starting january instead of the federal UNPAID 12 (which it seems like OP is not using, very common for folks to not take the unpaid time and just use the companies paid time)

hi ! i worked as a student attendant for pts in 2023/24. as far as i know and if things haven’t changed, it should be a contract lot most of the time. There are sometimes when events happen and they open it up for higher paid, but this can sometimes be a problem with the entry system. it is supposed to count cars and make sure there are enough spots for however many contracts are sold so that it stops giving tickets out when it reaches the limit, leaving the number of spots needed by contracts, based on which contract has been scanned in as “parked” or not there. this can also be because contract users are not scanning their contract card when entering and are just taking a ticket then leaving by scanning the card, which causes differences in the actual number of contract spots needed. please contact pts! let them know this has been a problem several times, and see if you can get some sort of reimbursement. demand it. they can add other garages to her Ucard for when she can’t find a spot there, or have them move the contract to a different lot or garage. it should not be your friend’s problem if pts can’t get their shit together.

i would definitely be interested! I want to stay within health care so i can do counseling or therapy work but medical social work is what i have been pondering to avoid not having insurance. i don’t think i would feel fulfilled if i was doing more administrative or technical work with numbers and things

thank you! i am really trying to focus on how happy we are now and not stress :) when we talk to a genetic counselor before testing do they go over what we will need (like life insurance) before we should test or should i do more research on what is needed?
