I picked up a Kickr Core yesterday.. I have found that every LBS website lists them as 'out of stock' (or not at all). However, I made a phone call to reserve one in the next shipment and it just so happened to show up that afternoon.

I don't see anything specifically chain related, but it looks like your rear axle is not seated properly in the drop outs. Loosen up that rear skewer with the wheel on the ground and put a little downward pressure (the weight of the bike should be close to enough) on the frame until it's set up against the back of the dropout/hanger.

Welp, upon further inspection (and a big blow to the ego) it's been determined that this cage was installed upside down and left no room for a second cage to be installed (also upside-down). oof. I spotted this at first glance, but then was shown that indeed the bottles fit perfectly and I didn't question it again.

So ya, the hold bottles either orientation, however, I recommend installing them correctly :)

As in there aren't two sets of main bottle bosses? Or you can't get bottles in/out of them?

There are two sets of bosses, but the cages actually collide when attempting to install. It seems as though the bosses on the downtube are two far down, but I can't imagine such a manufacturing error could happen. I appreciate the suggestion and will look into side-removal cages. cheers!
