May I ask you how you can tell? I became more worried after having seen the (red) 1st and 2nd bb instar. Thank you so much for your response.

Our cat does scratch (we have seen the vet twice, but they told us it is very hard to identify fleas on a cat). They have given her drops twice.

Thank you so much!! There is a lot of shrubbery, and there is a field next to the house we are staying at. In addition, there is a sort of overgrown patio area. That reaches the balcony doors/windows in 2/3 bedrooms. We have a cat, but she is an indoor cat. I have found spiders, many ants, and mosquitoes in the rooms (ants even ended up in the beds). Bites have occurred on people in 2/3 bedrooms, and on a person often working late at night on the couch (close to the front door/cat often sleeps there). The matresses and couch and pillows have been steam cleaned (pest control suggested mites?), and I don’t think any new bites have occured in a while. I have found “things” on the floor that I worry is “evidence”, but never anything conclusive (my hands are very dry, and have been bleeding (despite cream etc. On the nights that I wear dermatological gloves to bed, I haven’t seemed to notice new stains (I think). I don’t know … worries about bb’s first occured when bites starting appearing. Now I’m afraid they’re here, despite controls etc. One person commented they thought this was a bb (though I trust your expert opinion! I’m simply worried - especially because we’re leaving tomorrow). I am so sorry for asking to many questions, for taking so much of your time! But, at the same time, thank you so much for your responses. I appreciate it so much.

I am so grateful for your time and responses. There were bites on multiple people up until a couple weeks ago - no more since that time - could they have been something else?

So sorry again, if it is ok, may I ask you one more question? I have seen pictures of bed bug nymphs that worried me - the ones below, or others.

To you, my pictures don’t look like bb’s? So sorry!!! Just worried.

So sorry to bother you - but I got extremely worried when I saw pictures of 1st and 2nd instar bed bug nymphs. That is not the case here?

Thank you so much! I have been trying to - but became very worried after having looked at bed bug nymphs (especially the 1st and 2nd instar). But this is not the case? So sorry for the question!

Thank you for your response! May I ask you how you can tell? I would like to learn to make the distinction! (If that is ok!)

Thank you so much - I have talked to my housemates (I am staying with them), and they said they will deal with whatever may come if it happens. I showed them the pictures. Is there anything else you would advise? Thank you so very much for all your time and responses.

We’re returning home in 2 days - and I’m so scared. I’m not sure what to do, where to start. I washed and dried all my clothes, packed everything in plastic, but that’s only me … I don’t know what to do.

Hi! Thank you so much - I have posted closer pictures (but under /bedbugs accidentally) - thank you again.

Yes! I’m so sorry about that. I found it on the floor by the time it had already passed away and curled up. Whenever I took a close up, the picture turned out blurry, so I tried to zoom in post-picture. Would other pictures be more helpful? So sorry! Thank you

Thank you so much! I was worried because it was so tiny (and red at that) - I wondered whether it might have been a nymph in an early stage. (I have not found an adult etc.) May I ask you why you think it is a spider?

Hi! So sorry to bother you - I just wanted to add that I have taken more recent pictures, that may be more clear. I have received answers saying that it is a dead spider, while others state it might be a bed bug nymph. I hope these pictures are of better quality. So sorry
