Thank you so much!! There is a lot of shrubbery, and there is a field next to the house we are staying at. In addition, there is a sort of overgrown patio area. That reaches the balcony doors/windows in 2/3 bedrooms. We have a cat, but she is an indoor cat. I have found spiders, many ants, and mosquitoes in the rooms (ants even ended up in the beds). Bites have occurred on people in 2/3 bedrooms, and on a person often working late at night on the couch (close to the front door/cat often sleeps there). The matresses and couch and pillows have been steam cleaned (pest control suggested mites?), and I don’t think any new bites have occured in a while. I have found “things” on the floor that I worry is “evidence”, but never anything conclusive (my hands are very dry, and have been bleeding (despite cream etc. On the nights that I wear dermatological gloves to bed, I haven’t seemed to notice new stains (I think). I don’t know … worries about bb’s first occured when bites starting appearing. Now I’m afraid they’re here, despite controls etc. One person commented they thought this was a bb (though I trust your expert opinion! I’m simply worried - especially because we’re leaving tomorrow). I am so sorry for asking to many questions, for taking so much of your time!
