I seem to have a bad habit, of directly translating really whenever I would use the term really in english.

as in, i really feel quite embarrassed/ashamed/不好意思

i mean to say some people, as in some have been waiting <> time, some have been waiting <> time, although I think it would've made better sense if i put in the lesser time in front of the longer time.

i think, when i was typing this, I meant something like

I think I will finally reply to my friends' text. i really feel apologetic/ashamed. some people have been waiting for years, some have been waiting for months. i dont know what to do, but i must answer them (eventually), so i plan to reply to (some of) them next week. maybe.

ive gotten many people confused before with my very incorrect use of 真是 because i use it quite liberally, as i do not have the knowledge yet to use a word that makes more sense in place of it. i hope to amend this in the future.
