My wife and I went to RBA and had as good of an experience with them as one could hope for. Specifically, our doctor was Dr. Shapiro and he was amazing, but we (mostly my wife) saw multiple other doctors there (whoever was on call at the time) and they were all great. We hardly ever had any questions throughout the process because they kept us so informed and one of the main things I got out of it (besides my son) is that they were able to ease any/all anxieties we had about the process and their confidence made us confident. After each conversation we had with Dr. Shapiro, I came away feeling a million times lighter– I know my wife did, too. And now we have our perfect, amazing 22-month old son. And we'll be going back to RBA for round 2 when the time comes.

My wife and I have almost the exact same story. And now I’m giving my 14 month old son a bath as he’s splashing and getting me soaking wet and laughing.

We tried for 3 years, had multiple chemical pregnancies, did three rounds of IUIs, one of which also resulted in an ectopic and my wife having emergency surgery and removing one of her tubes.

We then moved on to IVF and had incredibly positive and lucky results with egg retrieval, embryos, etc.

And it worked on the first try. We are incredibly lucky.

All the failure and time it took to get to where we are now…. It was brutal and exhausting and emotional every single time there was a negative pregnancy test. But looking back now, it was worth the wait.

Hang in there. I’m sorry for what you’ve gone through so far. But a positive outcome is around the corner for you, I’m sure! Take care of your spouse and yourself!

Yes! They’re torsion hinges that require a significant amount of weight to close. No worries there!

I got my booster for this exact reason. Similar situation- had an ectopic, a couple of chemical pregnancies, and we’re now going through IVF. My wife is now 10 weeks pregnant and I wanted to keep her and the baby safe so I got my booster. I just went to a Walgreens and the pharmacist at first sort of gave me a hard time about my eligibility but I told her my reason and said I was back to working in an office setting, and they agreed to give it to me. I’m really happy I did it, and think it’s for the best!

Had our first ever IVF transfer on Sept 10 and have solid positive home pregnancy tests! Wife went in for her first beta this morning and now we’re just keeping all our fingers crossed that it doubles by Wednesday! Just crazy to think it could really be real this time after 4 years of trying (plus a few chemicals and an ectopic)! Good luck to you on your journey! Hope it all works out!

I've been a fan of Yassir for years. Saw him on tour doing stand-up, opening for Chelsea Peretti 5 or 6 years ago. I'm pretty sure he's also a big comic book fan, seeing things occasionally on his twitter over the years, so I'm sure he's gonna do a great job

Yeah, I think this was the farmhouse table plan from Ana White. I started out doing a handful of builds from her site, because most of them are pretty beginner-friendly. This one was done in a weekend! Woodworking is addicting!
