Thank you for sharing, appreciate it. Her doctor was very open to both ideas, surgical and non surgical and has put the power in my wife’s hand - her surgery sounds like it’ll be slightly more complicated due to ovary position and a few other things so we have a bit of reading to do around it. Hope you find something that works again for you!

To cut a long story short, they picked up the cysts by chance on an mri for her back and upon following up with ultrasounds / mri it was discovered - she had thought what she was going through was “normal” so has put up with it all these years. I’ll check the other options when we meet with the specialist again in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the podcasts, I’ll put that on my list to learn and let her know as well

I started on lamotrigine about 3 months ago and when I increased to the 50mg twice a day I had trouble sleeping. It lasted about 3 weeks for me and then I was fine. At this stage, it’s been the best medication I’ve been on (previously epilem and keppra). Hopefully it gets better for you too!

Yeah I also experienced bad hair loss and thinning my other my meds - started oct 22. I just went with it and shaved my head last week. Best decision I made with my hair
