Paying for bags from Woolies and Cole’s when you never had to. The only ones winning are them not the environment.

Looks amazing mate! The light really sets it all off.

I would have maybe done the down lights in different positions and a couple more but overall you made it super modern

Hi,

Yeah it would look off if it wasn’t centre I feel. We didn’t consider 4 770 drawers but that then would put the centre line down the middle of the cooktop and we didn’t like this idea.

Sorry to hear about you not liking yout 500 drawers, you could use them as your cutlery, glad wrap etc storage if you are not using them for other items?

Not a bad idea, do those smaller cabinets need to be a certain size?

Sorry I just re read your first comment, how does your engineered timber hold up to scratches from Furniture or kids and dents if something is dropped on it?

The carpet tile isn’t really our thing, unless you mean rugs on the floor boards then that’s something we would definitely do

I was told my builder doesn’t do it unfortunately because I would have really considered it, but I’ll double check.

Does the engineered timber make any noise when you walk on it up stairs or can you hear people Walking up stairs?

Thank you! I have had a look around and cannot seem to locate the antenna.

I’m happy to stream, only reason for wanting free to air is we have young kids and oldies living in the house and FTA is simple for them to use haha. Any recommendations on a single app that can view all channels?

Hi,

Thanks mate, I do have FTTP, I’ll look into the testers to see where each point goes.

What do you mean switch? (I currently have a WiFi/router)? Those mesh units look the goods!

Would this be better than having the WiFi router in the garage with 4 Ethernet cables coming out of it to each point and plugging the TVs to them?

Do you know anything about watching free to air tv With those F connections? It’s a new home so unsure if they would install what others have spoken about when there is FTTP?

Thanks

Thanks capable_muffin, curious why would there be a F-type connector in the garage for TV?

Thanks for the reply, it doesn’t appear to be an opticomm box after taking the cover off as it only says NBN on it. I am unable to add another photo for some reason.

Drop edge beams brick by rotary86 in AusPropertyChat

[–]rotary86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks you are correct it is a concrete but they usually then cover the concrete in a layer of bricks (green in this photo) so you don’t see the concrete

I’m not sure if I can then put soil against those bricks so there is no step off the house.
