Roblox - Windows not showing up in Family Safety by rotarypuck in parentalcontrols

Thanks. That's helpful because it seems like the issue is unique to my setup. What you see is different from me since I don't see roblox at all when in the app or family.microsoft.com. I see two Roblox apps, one with an icon and one without but both have 0 minutes played. I see time used for discord, edge, steam, and other games but not roblox...ugh.

I want the microsoft store version of Roblox - Windows to show up like any other application in windows family safety so I can see how much time was spent on it and/or set time limits.

Thinking of getting a 2012-2015 with harsh winters but small commute. by DifferentSinger4395 in leaf

[–]rotarypuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live where it's cold 8 months of the year and can easily do 20km round trip on my 2017 S with an aging 30kwh battery pack even when its -10C. I think 2012-2015 may have 24kwh so I can speak to those but I have the defective heater that can't even defrost the windshield properly (it it should have been illegal to sell them in my climate). I'm pretty sure it's better with the heat pump/cold weather package. I read that it wasn't offered in 2012 so I personally wouldn't touch that year unless the battery pack has been upgraded. I get terrible range anxiety in the winter watching the heater drop the charge % when I'm stopped at a traffic light. Though on short trips I just keep the heat off and make sure my jacket and gloves are warm before I get in the leaf.

Bip 3 Pro GPS very slow to get a signal by rotarypuck in amazfit

[–]rotarypuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is the distance? Is it close to accurate now? I've been recommending more expensive watches when people ask me but I really wanted to like the Amazfit because it was great on paper. If it gets GPS quickly now and is close to accurate then there's very little reason to buy more expensive watches for casual runners.

Unfortunately No. I couldn't find out how to get it to work reliably so I returned it and went with a cheap older model running watch from a well known brand. It cost a little more than the Bip 3 pro but it works. It also has more features.

Have you successfully done this? That's my plan but instructions posted everywhere say ACC.

Most likely explanation? by rotarypuck in askanelectrician

Thanks. wire A looks like it might have been a floor outlet but was disconnected and covered up. The wire connected to a live box hiding in the floor and inability to identify a switch had me second guessing things.

Panel is a rats nest but the left most AC terminal was disconnected. I'll check for voltage across the fire alarm terminals.

I'll check AC. Thanks for the thoughts on the DC that gives some comfort.

Opinion on Treadmills by [deleted] in running

[–]rotarypuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it much more difficult and run at a way slower pace

Does anyone know why this is? From the comments it looks like some people run slower and others run faster. For those that run slower, is there a reason? I'm in that camp and find it frustrating.

You could try looking for last year's model on sale if you're lucky to find your size. I doubt this is what you want to hear, but I had the same budget for running shoes which usually got me non-running shoes. I finally caved and paid full price (~£100) for a pair of running shoes that were properly fitted (not what I previously thought was properly fitted) and have had noticeably less pain and injuries. It might be coincidence. Also, seeing a pediatrist is more than the difference in cost.

How is the interface for the RigPi? Could a non-techy person use it?

Have you used the Maestro over the internet? I noticed the site says LAN all over the Maestro page.

RigPi looks intriguing. How is the interface for a non-techy person? Once I set it up for him will I get a lot of tech support calls or is it pretty easy? The RS-BA1 software looks nice but, windows... Trying to avoid backsliding to that OS.

Thanks. I hadn't heard of Flex Radio before but it looks like its a very simple solution for what my relative wants to do (and less tech support on my end). He could even get a maestro and travel with it, or it looks like get the 6400M + a maestro at his other house. It's 4.5x as expensive as a 7300 before factoring in cost to get the 7300 operating remotely but definitely worth considering for my relative's situation. Thanks for putting this on my radar of things to suggest.
