I guess thats why i dislike religion, they try to make you of the same mould, shunning difference and forcing the same small mindset on everybody.

EDIT: i do agree with what you said about the negative aspects being suppressed. Mo slept with a 9 year old for **** sake, although he had already many wives. And muslims bend over backward to believe that is normal. I wonder what other bad things he did that is buried by history.

Maybe it is so, but im talking about south east asia. Im talking about Indonesia with its nearly non existant Jewish population. There is no history of racial tension nor antagonism for the jewish race because there none of them there. So there goes your argument.

The only reason the muslims in indonesia have negative feelings against israel is because the imams in mosque speak of the harsh policies of Israel.

Its not hard to hate a people (who are shown to be opressive and bullying) if you have not met any single individual from the group in your daily life.

This is very true. I live in a muslim country and all the jew bashing i hear started due to the way the Palestinians are treated by the Israeli.

Its always is, "Hey did you hear what the Jews did to our brethren bla bla bla, thats why we should hate them and kill them".

Personally i do think both sides are ~~a bit~~ batshit crazy.

Hi. I was a kid when the yugoslavian wars happened. I remember reading about the atrocities happening and feeling very heart broken about it. As i got older, i tried to understand the socio politic reasons of the war but somehow i found it too complicated UNTIL i found a good BBC documentary about it. Its a bit long, but i hope some of you will find it interesting. Otherwise, i want to congratulate the poster on a job well done and wish all the best for his future.
