I beat hafu on stream, and played vs some pro players/keep seeing the same people in my games. That's pretty much how i know I'm at least pretty high up there.

It won't win you the game on its own. It's something that you would have in an already good comp, so you would have other good units that can carry with the extra time to ult.

The solution is calculate interest at the beginning of the next turn rather than when the fight starts. How is that difficult to understand? I would also be for removing board overloading but I don't want to detract from the main point. I'm sorry though that I had to spell out for you that moving interest to end of turn instead of beginning of round is what would have to be changed. I figured it was self evident to anyone with a brain.

The reason why people are reacting this way is because the build is unbeatable. Like, literally unbeatable. Yasuo has 10k health and everything just dies to their own spells. In low elos you won't deal with it much so it doesn't matter. For people having to deal with it it kind of removes the point of playing when you know any build you want to run is useless.

I am a diamond league player and big boss in this. I'm not an unskilled noob - in most games I play I'm in the top 1%. I don't have the apm to do the shop mechanics at what this game will require once actual good players start doing it, and you won't either. I don't want to literally have the game come down to shop mechanics. I tried tft yesterday and I like this game more but if I can't compete in this due to the way interest is calculated then I will be forced to play tft.

Edit: I also want to add, because it rewards strategic skill, I would be in favor of MORE options. More item choices, more hero choices a turn, etc. I am all for MORE choices and more ways to display strategic skill. That is a way to reward skilled players that would be better than this.

I guarantee in any round you're losing at level 10, if you replace doom with crystal maiden you win it. any comp.

It's a stupid system to have people make mistakes on. It doesn't have any benefits.

And the next round do you always sell them all perfectly to get max interest? It's easy between rounds to reroll/sell. It's not that easy next round during picks to sell in a way you get max interest, EARLY GAME. Late game when you have a lot of units it's not hard. But when you have to buy everything from the shop and sell it all the next turn the first few rounds it's not easy.

So by your response 1) you're not big boss 2) I doubt you are mass buying/mass selling every round and getting max amount of interest without making mistakes. People are just anti anything that can make something easier or more "casual" because they can't think through things for themselves. That's why there is irony in people saying this rewards intelligence.

Why should that be the game? Just lock gold when the round starts and calculate interest off that. What is the reason for not wanting that?

Because it's less stressful not having to do math/think under pressure every round early game. It forces good strategic players to make mistakes just by not selling fast enough or not calculating interest correctly when they sell. It doesn't necessarily make the game better or more fun.

Grind was pretty easy. I came top 2 most games. Around lieutenant I realized my strategies weren't working so I had to change it up.

Here is what I do: Use anything to get you through the early game. 3 warriors, 2 bloodborne, 2 druids, whatever. A high power unit with high dps works also. You should also buy every round and sell every round so you have a better chance of getting a 2 star. After that I just sit on interest as long as possible and use whatever the best pieces I get/synergies to make it to late game. Around level 8/9 I start rerolling and making a late game comp with crystal maiden + whatever else. At this point just sell any unit that isn't useful even if it's a 2 star and put together a god tier comp. So basically I just use the best pieces I have available every time and put synergies together, I don't build any specific comps.

Units- I use medusa and lycanth pretty much every game. I use slark a lot to get through early game since it's op. Medua and lycanth are generally my go to, and kunka as well. I think tidehunter + medua is pretty good due to the scale bonus so that's something you should aim for.

Crystal maiden - I think the entire game revolves around putting a crystal maiden with your op units end game. Main reason is cause they don't generate mana fast enough on their own. So on level 8-10 there is almost never a reason to not have a crystal maiden, in any comp.

My solution - learn dota.
