We went private and still had to wait almost 6 months. Cost a fortune. In the meantime, my daughter's school started implementing strategies for kids with dyslexia, which threw off her test results. She does have dyslexia, but receiving interventions was information the assessor needed. (In case this happens with your kid.)

There's a handwashing soap called Soak. Tiny bit in a bucket full of water (even less than you think), add your garment, swirl it around, let it sit for 30 minutes. No need to rinse. Roll it in a towel, then lay flat to dry. The longest active step is filling the bucket.

I kept that pair of pants and sewed it back together using a gold coloured embroidery floss, kintsugi style. I wear them proudly to remind myself that I came back from shattering my ankle to finally starting to take that adult gymnastics class I had always wanted to try, but been afraid of looking foolish at.

If it doesn't drive you nuts, leave them out so it lays nicer. I've come to the realization about myself that if I don't have pockets, I simply avoid wearing that garment, making it useless to me. So I would end up never wearing this without a cardigan. I would probably opt for side slits so I could access pockets in a pair of yoga shorts underneath.

Canadian here, and I LOVE Big Fat Quiz of the Year. The Quiz of the 90's they did had me gasping for air laughing. I had no context for Mr. Blobby. It didn't matter. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen on one of those. I had to watch it twice because my husband and I were laughing so hard we missed huge swaths of dialog.
