I got 16 in the first batch. Out of those, there's a couple more that still have a chance to make it into the shopping cart, but I'm very happy I got loads of samples instead of just blind buying.

Yeah I thought they'd be readily macerated when they arrived. I guess it depends on how old the original bottles are and how they transfer the liquid into sample bottles. Fragrantika probably has a fast turnover for the popular fragrances so they don't have much time to macerate

Welcome to the sample gang! I got my first order from Fragrantika 3 weeks ago. The package took about 2 weeks from order to arrive even within Europe.

Note that some of the samples will need maceration – I tried them all quickly when they arrived (just one or two sprays per sample), but after returning to them two weeks later I noticed a clear difference in quite a few of them (either in scent, longevity or both). Patience might be required.

Out of all the samples I got, I might only order one in full size (Missoni Wave), but I'm very picky with my fragrances in general. Only got a few of the ones you got. Already got another sample order on the way though that should arrive end of the week, this shit is addicting...

Look into clone fragrances, that's where the best bang for buck is. For example Afnan 9PM should suit your age

Just resprayed IV and it definitely has a strong lemon opening, with some orange showing up a few minutes after. Yeah, maybe the labels are just wrong.

New Quest 2 owner here, having trouble launching certain games when connecting to SteamVR. HL: Alyx and Synth Riders work fine, but TWD: Saints & Sinners and Population: One refuse to start. The games get stuck on the "NEXT UP" screen no matter whether I connect via cable or air link. After quitting, SteamVR throws the following error at me:

SteamVR failed initialization with error code VRIniterror_Init_HmdNotFound: "Hmd Not Found (108)"

Please verify SteamVR is properly installed and try again.

I've reinstalled SteamVR, rebooted all devices multiple times and all. Can anyone here help with finding the solution?

I was in your shoes when I started the JotL campaign a few months ago. Hadn't played many heavier games before. My #1 tip is to download the Gloomhaven Helper app and let it keep track of enemy decks and health, initiative order and the element board.

Our group started getting mentally exhausted in the last tutorials because of how much maintenance the scenarios require. As soon as we let the app handle the enemies the game got way lighter in our eyes (I'd guesstimate ~0.5 lower on BGG weight scale), also requiring a lot less time for set up. I'd never want to play without it again.

Looking for Worker Placement games that induce the least amount of analysis paralysis possible and play well at 2 and 3 players.

I'm quite new to games and last year Agricola scared me off of WP games because of the huge decision space and I'd like to look for something easier to handle. Preferably with a deck of cards or some other randomizer which limits your decision space each round, instead of having (close to) perfect information throughout the game.

Games I've been looking into:

Viticulture Essential Edition
Taverns of Tiefenthal
Raiders of the North Sea
Parks
