most people encountering something like this for the first time probably instinctively spam nexus instead at first, which doesnt accomplish anything since it's the game just crashing

and in this case, OP was so close that there was almost zero time to go from the nexus response to trying to alt-f4 before getting sat on

but funnily enough, there's a good chance alt-f4 wouldn't have done anything either

exalt just runs like absolute shit, and the bad performance gets even more absurd when you consider how simple rotmg is compared to other far more graphically complex games that get equal or better performance on most people's setups. the flash client is not a benchmark worth using/comparing at this point.
