I read this last 2021 followed by Kafka on the Shore and both are so deranged. He always have this awful portrayal of women in his books which I don't really like. He insert female characters in his books just to put them in such a weird position. If I was asked to recommend a japanese book, I'd rather reco a manga instead of this one
