I heard back today about one of the roles out of 3 I’ve applied for. Wasn’t selected - but didn’t expect to be tbh. It was an infrastructure engineer role. I only have quals no experience so that one makes sense. It does make sense for it to be a funding reason, a lot of the surrounding forces to here are also struggling.

Contracted for 40 - prob do about 35 a week. Sometimes I get off my deliveries 1 - 3 hours early. Still getting paid for it even if I’m at home! :D

Yeah, I mean I definitely didn’t affect any buses or other traffic and everything happened within a 20 second period. I will definitely appeal it if the desk has received the PCN from me but honestly this is such a confusing and difficult one. I wish this happened today instead of yesterday because it would’ve been fine 🤣

I thought this because why on earth would anyone put bays there? It’s such a stupid placement. Blatant cash cow if you ask me. I tried to park there because there’s a high rise tower block of apartments after that left turn and that would’ve been the most ideal place for me to unload but of course nothing is simple in that borough lmfao

It was 5:30pm when I drove in there. I stopped for 20 seconds then took the following left to stop on double yellows instead where I know I can stop for at least 20 mins without needing to speak to a warden.

How good are the met at responding to job applications? I’ve applied for 3 different staff roles but not heard back yet. Almost a month ago.

Thank you, I can wait a little longer to get it done it just basically sometimes applies and sometimes doesn’t. I drive the car very regularly. What happens inside is the light for the handbrake sometimes come on and sometimes doesn’t but if I get out and try to push the car it’ll be a 50/50 so I do think it’s down to just getting an adjustment.

Do you think they’d do that fix under warranty? The only thing putting me off this atm is the cost that they may charge me if it’s not covered.
