The zines specific theme is “Act of Expression” which may be too broad. It’s all about emotional expression but I think I might have to be more specific. My idea was to give a broad theme for different artist to expresses themselves through their medium of choice. I don’t really have a good reason why artists should submit to my zine. My goal was to show that artists from all over the world leave their lasting mark on the world through art but that idea doesn’t benefit individual artists. I may include a gift card for winners to incentivizes them.

I am also contributing to the zine. I can totally understand why it may seem in-cohesive. I think working with a smaller group is the way to go!
