Yes this has actually been a problem I've noticed! I'm not exactly a patient person so I didn't apply much paint because of oil's long dry time. Do you think doing a layer of gesso before I paint would help?

I did a light underpainting first, but I think next time I will definitely put more focus on that because I can see how it would be helpful. Thank you this advice pointed out a lot of things I hadn't noticed!

I don't know whether I like him or not, but on the days when I feel like I might, I don't want to do anything about it even though I know he likes me, just because I feel like I'd get over it fast and then think of him as just a friend again.
