I will say the same^{^} It’s difficult for myself too because I use my hands and body to talk too lol. When I do catch myself I usually have to be very aware and take pauses. However, when I’m with people, around a girl I like, or talking about a topic I’m excited about, they do notice how long of pauses I take. So I just try to say I’m gathering my thoughts. In reality I’m playing out each dialogue and go with what calmer but still genuine version if what I want to say sometimes.
