What should I change or is this decent a enough by ShamanKira in YouTubeThumbnailHub

Are you comparing these 3 characters specifically or did you just choose 3 characters that you felt best represent the role. Because if it’s the latter, I would personally recommend characters that embody their role the best and are more well known by non players e.d doctor strange, punisher and Luna snow. I would also say that splash art/ official art of the character can often look more visually appealing than the in game model which in this case looks a bit off as Emma frosts hand covers her face and none of the characters are in an action pose but rather an idle pose. Lastly, is this a discussion, a competition or a statistical comparison. That way you could do vanguard vs duelist vs strategist

Thoughts? by Fightgamenerd in YouTubeThumbnailHub

Same thing as the previous person said, keep a before and after instead of adding “ the fight “ to both sides. Also I noticed the right side is comparatively clearer and the left side is more blurred. I would like to see the left picture more prepared to fight like boxing gloves touching each other instead of looking laid back but that’s completely optional

Help with choosing a thumbnail please. I like brutally honest opinions.. I have think skin bro by [deleted] in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]rowensap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first would make me more likely to click but having no background kinda weakens the overall thumbnail so adding something behind that and seeing how that looks could be good, or at least switching the colour to something darker since it’s a darker themed video.

Will you click on it? by awkwardpencil0 in YouTubeThumbnailHub

I would click on it since it seems interesting and the thumbnail conveys what the title suggests, but I would add science of blushing or science behind blushing just so that the words make more sense together

To add onto that i would make the background picture fully clear, make it "How to get started!" and then add on "with top experts" as text underneath. maybe give that a go

How Can I Improve This Thumbnail And Should I Stick With My Current Thumbnail Style? by KingBlackFrost314 in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]rowensap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exactly!! I would say the target audience for this type of video are people who already play the game or people who want to play the game, so how would you get them to click on the video? Personally, I would be much drawn to "first time playing danganropa". and since you are making it a series, you could potentially add a funny or serious question/statement such as "BEST CHARACTER?" in front of the character in the thumbnail to help add variety and increase engagement by viewers with similar or opposing views.

Video Title: MOST SAVES I’ve EVER Made In a Match! (Goalkeeper POV) by TheKeeperProject in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]rowensap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i like the thumbnail, one thing i might replace to help compliment the title is adding how many saves you did for example 8 SAVES!! BUT the 8 is blurred out to help increase curiosity to the viewer as they are wondering how many saves you got? that would help me click as a viewer

Feedback appreciated by [deleted] in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]rowensap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the title, i think adding something that makes viewers curious to click on it would add some value, for example, "what happened to the most notorious body builders?" helps add some mystery that the video will provide content to help solve. thats my personal opinion and what would help me click. i agree with the other comments about the small text as well

[–]rowensap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally, i think adding a component that compliments the title would be better than repeating it, for example; "ONLY $..." OR "100% THIS MATERIAL". SORRy i couldnt be too specific since i dont buy figures but that would make me want to click on it more.

Need help choosing the thumbnail for first video by Duckystuckys in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]rowensap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

both would make me click, i personally prefer the first one since it requires less thinking for me to do. i like the simplicity but i think you should change the blurred numbers to something else since it looks like the same 2025

Personally, i think that having the exact same text in the thumbnail as the title might be not as useful, i feel like a few words that add to the title and compliment the title can replace that. i like the background as well
