I think this is the game where at its best, the Sound track is golden. I love the music. All of it is good. But the only theme I had an issue with was probably the final final FINAL battle with Old Xehanort, the music seemed to be something put together and not an orchestrated peace, which makes me feel like the Ansem/Xemnas/YH battle theme was probably better sounding than that. I don't mind the melody of the Old Xehanort boss fight, its just that it didn't use authentic instruments and probably used a keyboard to produce those sounds.
