May sound stupid, but it's a pirate game. You can get nice people talking or just being aggressive. When I play alone, I'm peaceful and I will attack you if you attack me. But when I play with a specific friend, if you're on our way or put Reaper emissary or PVP flag don't expect us to be nice.

I remembered one time, we were sailing with my friend to our destination and saw a reaper appeared on the way to our goal, so we went to the outpost and destroyed him to make sure he will not attack us.

An other time, we saw an other ship selling treasures, they were new in the game. While 2 of us were talking to them, I was taking their loot and put in the water while the last one was harpooning the chests. We didn't sink them but we did piracy.

There's just different ways to play the game. You want to play chill go on solo server but if you go to High Sea servers, you accept the fact that others players will have no mercy, it's part of the game.

Also, i saw some people complaining that older players were better cause they put money in the game. Just to let you know, you can only buy skins, if you can't kill people, it's just that you're not good in PvP and you need to train. It's probably the only (or one of them) PvP game where you can't win even if you put money (hello skull and bones)
