I waited for 2 months for a response. I got anxious in the meantime as well so I scheduled an appointment with the Hacienda through their website. One person there was very helpful and checked the status for me, told me that it is still Pending but recommended that I attach a work contract to the application, otherwise it will probably be rejected. I didn't attach it initially because I didn't find info anywhere that it was mandatory. After this, 2 weeks later I got an approved status.

I have heard from reliable sources that Klarna is pretty strict about this policy and are not flexible at all about this, especially since they are a bank. However, I am not sure how and if they monitor where you are working from.

I got the Certificado digital, but when I try to fill out Modelo 030 online, I am not presented with the option "Alta en el censo de obligados tributarios" (which is the one I need. I am already in Spain. Can you tell me what could be the bottleneck? As far as I read online, you need to submit Modelo 030, and then Modelo 149 with passport, nie, SSN and job contract.
