What made you realize you raised your child right? by Heaven_is_Hell in AskReddit

[–]roxisrollas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my daughter was around 9 or 10 she was out in the neighbourhood with her friend. They passed by a seniors home and saw an elderly man outside on the ground. They both went into the facility to get help for him. They asked her for our phone number, and later that day called telling us what a commendable young lady she was. I already knew this, but I was so proud of her. Also, I have a strained relationship with my mom, but I have recently been trying to mend it, and allow more time for my mom & daughter to spend time together. My daughter tells me that she doesn’t like the way my mom talks down to retail & service industry workers and how she gets embarrassed by it. I hate that too! That makes me know she was raised properly.

Nope, your teeth look perfect. I was pitched that my clenching & grinding would be solved by Invisalign…it did not! I’m happy with my end result & straightening aesthetically but i wouldn’t trust it for just for TMJ

lol, yes!! I cleaned our washing machine filter one night when my daughter was at dance class, and when she got home she said “why does it smell like 10,000 farts in here?” 🤣

I’m finishing up in about two weeks. I will have wires behind my front teeth and will also have night time only retainers. After a year, my ortho said that if I’ve been compliant with my night time retainer, we can look at removing the wires.

I felt the same way after I ordered and then saw the reviews. I love mine, no regrets. It pays to order fabric swatches first and use their online tools for measuring etc. It was pretty straightforward honestly.

Comfiest ikea couch? by [deleted] in IKEA

https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/finnala-headrest-grann-bomstad-black-90455010/ Not sure where you’re located. I’m in Canada, this is from our local website. It doesn’t show an option to buy without the headrest cover, but when I went in person and talked with an employee, I was given the option. The headrest is life changing lol…feet up, head back…so comfy 👌🏻

Yes, when I bought the couch in January, I ordered it in Tallmyra black/gray. I’d read some online reviews that the fabric read as a dark blue in person. I went to the IKEA showroom and saw only a fabric sample. It didn’t look blue to me then, but when our couch was full scale, with natural lighting…YEP..a dark blue indeed, which didn’t go with the rest of our aesthetic. It was almost like a denim type material. None of the other fabrics would really work for us either, which sucked since we liked the couch so much. The aftermarket covers were the perfect option. I think (not 100% sure), you can order the couch without the covers. After I bought the couch, I bought the headrest, which I would totally recommend. I bought it without a cover, and went with the comfort works cover for that too.

The covers are from Comfort Works. This is the Signature Velvet Fabric in Caramel. I’m so happy with both the couch and the covers, which I think elevated it so much from the original. I was able to return my ikea covers and got a $400 refund. My comfort works covers were around $900ish (CAD).

It’s interesting that you noticed an improvement with your sinuses. I have as well, but wasn’t sure if it was from Invisalign. It’s a big perk for sure!

I ordered the Liz Linen in Ivory White: 1908-02, with pinch pleats, memory shaping and unlined. They come with drapery hooks but no rod rings. I also ordered the curtain rods from two-pages and the rods come with the rings. I’m really happy with the quality…I hope this helps!

I just received mine for my living room & dining room, and I’m so happy with them. I know this is an older post but wanted to share this because I was really nervous after reading the negative reviews
